Oil Consumption problem in B16A
I have this problem where I have to top up ever so often. In the course of the change interval I would've used 4 qt's of 10W-30 Mobil 1 just topping off alone.
Is this a problem inherent in these engines becasue all the classic signs of oil burning or leaking just aren't there, plugs are clean, exhaust is invisible, no oil leaks from anywhere and engine temp is fine.
Thanks

Re: Oil Consumption problem in B16A (fluffydom)
i would double check for leaks. my b16 was consuming oil like there was no tommorow. turned out to be leaking cam seals.
went ahead and replaced those and no more running low on oil.
hope this helps.
