Default oil cap breather

anybody know of a place that sells oil cap breathers for civics? i have way to much pressure and need to get rid of it some way and thought this would be the best way

Do u still have the oil breather line? You can get those caps at any auto parts store, or probably even walmart.

uhhh yeah i was not looking to spend 75 bucks, but thanks anyway. no one else? isn't there a screw on breather for a oil cap?

Yeah, they can probably be had at any autozone type parts store, or even a walmart or something with a rice section, for a few bucks.

i have excess pressure in my crank case which i causing my oil pan gasket to blow out so i was looking for a way to releave that pressure

Whats wrong with the stock breather fitting on the bachk of the valve cover?

the only "breather" there is is the vacuum line running to the intake and the pcv

Just mod your stock cap... drill a hole in it and the glue a fitting on it... Or just drill a hole in it...

Go to a junkyard and get an oil cap and do it to that one... you should be able to drill and tap the plastic for a fitting with out any problem....

But I don't think that's gunna help you vent excess crankcase pressure... a little but not as much as you'd like...

I'd recomend completely removing the pcv valve and just running a hose with a breather off of that... it's the best way you'll relieve pressure in the pan. not the most enviromentally sound idea but... what are you gunna do?
