Drain the oil via the oil drain plug. Take off old filter, put on new filter. replace drain bolt and add new oil. done.

you don't add oil. you take out the drain plug and let all the old oil drain out. change the filter, replace the drain plug and refill with oil. how did you get 860 posts if you don't know how to change the oil?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

ok, you need:
A BRAIN.
New oil
New oil filter
New crush washer
New drain plug (maybe)
17mm wrench
filter pliers (maybe)

There is an oil pan at the bottom of your engine. It's a black tub that holds the oil. There is a 17mm drain plug that is at the bottom of it. Get a container to catch about 4 quarts of oil. remove the 17mm drain plug with the container under to catch the oil that will come out.

The filter is on the back of your block. it's a round peice of metal about the size of a coke can. Unscrew it and expect a little bit of oil to drip out. Discard it. Get a new oil filter for your car and screw it back on making sure there is no rubber gasket on the block (you don't want to double gasket). tighten it hand tight.

By this time, your oil should be all drained out. Re-install the 17mm drain plug with a new crush washer. tighten hand tight to about 34 ft. lbs. add oil accordingly. if you dont know how much to add, start off with 3.25 quarts of oil, then start your car, then turn it off and check the dipstick. add more oil if needed

Very good, not too many people destroyed this guy, kinda suprising. Good thing that you now know how to change ur oil now cause now u know that ur putting in the right oil and filter and not have someone else do it for you and not knowing what quality grade stuff hes putting in. Make sure to put enough oil and tighten everything down too.

I would sagest taking it somewhere and watch how they do it. Seriously or get a friend to help you or something. If you have no clue what to do DO NOT do it on your own the first time, you'll mess something up more then likely......
