Oh the joys of auto theft
So tomorrow or the next day I'll finally be going down to get my car. My question is do you think its safe to put my motegi 16s on the rear tires, then donuts on the front while i take it home? It's about a 5 mile drive. Yes yes. I have 3 rims left. Somehow they busted the people who were stripping the car and managed to only get 3 of the wheels back! what the hell is with that. So I decided to do the repairs myself because its just the hood, right fender and bumper that need replacing, as well as some dash components. If I can't find the lugnuts when I get there, who might stock cheap lugnuts to just put on some motegis and some donuts?
Annnd does anyone have any idea what brand of rims tend to be good lightweight 16s? I want to replace the motegis all together..

I would say put the three on and then put a donut on one of the rear tires. You should be safe as long as you do not go faster than like 55 i think(it says on the tire). But if you just want to have 2 on then you should be fine with 2 donuts but i would put them on the rear personally. just my 2 cents
Usually tire shops will have all sizes of lug nuts

If you are driving the car home, I would put the donut on the back of the car...and you can get lug nuts anywhere, you will probably need some tuner style lugs since they are aftermarket wheels. Sorry about your situation, but atleast they caught the bastards.

ok. the reason i dont put a donut on the back is the donut is probably like a 13 and the others are 16s. ^_^ so i figure two donuts on the front and the big ones on the back. does that make sense? big ones on the back, tiny ***** on the front?

Oops. I was referring to the Heliums. I'm just wondering how much a typical 16 is... the 17" konigs are 16.2lb. Are 17s cool on a 94 civic, you think? As little as those weigh..

Re: (R33CIVIC)
I am less concerned with others opinions, but more with the tech issues involved with large wheels.. and by "are they cool" i mean "are they workable".
sorry for the confusion

17" will fit a civic, as long as the car is not dumped...
