Re: *** Official What You did to your eg/ek today ***
Picked up a completely stock 96 hatch last Tuesday, and started working on it sunday. So far, I did the gauge cluster swap, cleaned it up a bit (was already immaculately clean), installed short shifter, Type-R ****, mesh front grill, Type-R lip, 2 Pioneer 10" subs, Xplode amp, Pioneer head unit, capacitor, cleaned up some wiring, painted/detailed under carriage, breaks, and working on valve cover, and painted the steelies.

Tried a V stack on my CAI(well i actually reduced it to SRI). And let me say i was very impressed. But then again butt dyno can fail.Actually debating on wether i should order a stack and K&N filter tonight.

Finished the headlight relay project - all headlight circuits now powered directly from battery via new junction box, fuse, relay and minimum 14 ga. wire to the headlight socket. Definitely brighter.
And - and here's the real reason I did it - my ScanGauge (fuel economy gauge system) that runs off the OBDII port doesn't crash due to odd variations in the power and ground provided to the port. My ScanGauge had been failing regularly till I did the relay upgrade. So far, about 125 miles of testing and no failure.

I rewired my low beam headlight. The wiring was shorting somewhere and I didn't want to pull the dash to find it. Also got my speedometer working. The middle wire broke off inside the plug. I had a spare from my CRX integra cluster swap. Then drove it 45miles round trip. Pretty happy with my 93 civic ex. Definitely worth the $500 I gave for it.

It's all clean, organized, and separated until there. I'll clean it up in the next few days. I was getting antsy, so I didn't wire the capacitor up, so I left all the wires out, and subs in random positions.

Here are your so desired pics. This is how it comes when purchased the you stack the filter and stack together. Then you place it on intake.

Let's see.... Washed the car, painted the extra valve cover, took out several pieces of the dash, degreased said pieces, swapped parts from my dx cluster into the CDM SiR cluster, plasti-dip coated the degreased dash pieces. Think that's it. Need more plasti-dip.....

You can get it in rattlecan format at Home Depot or Lowe's, runs about $6. Just spray it on according to the texture you want. Close spray gives a more gloss coat, the farther away the more pebbly textured it gets. (I would post pics but I don't have anywhere to host them.)
Today I washed all the tree sap off the car, drove 2 hrs to a Honda place that no longer has a Honda junkyard...... Thinking about pulling the spark plugs to look at fuel mixture and maybe recovering the fabric on the door panel armrests. Still have the rear panels and 3 pieces on the hatch and the door sills to spray with plasti-dip after I remove the seats and seat belts to get all that crap out. Also having to rig my dimmer switch as my original one has gone missing. Honda wants $70 for a new one.....

Fixed the dent in my front bumper then painted it low gloss black, and fixed a massive gas leak. Painted my super Gay Euros Red that the previous owner installed and connected my gauges to the light switch.

Today I pulled out most of the interior of my silver hatch then picked at the sound deadening that is in the driver-side footwell most of which came up because of water damage... ugh. Discovered a crack that goes through the footwell to the underside of the car... future Flintstones mod? ...more ugh.
Also I ran errands in the red hatch and drove it to a friends house. yay!
