I don't know why they'd be different, it's from a 99 Red Si, here's the pic from my for sale post
1= 96-98 Civic grill bezel
2= 99 Si bezel
99-00 Civics have a wider grill and you can see that in the pic

I honestly don't have a clue why it'd be different on your car.

if it was a 96-98 it'd be the same as that black one in that picture. and no that is the one that you were supposed to get. No one switched it.

I pulled it from the car myself.

Not trying to be a ****, but are you sure your car is a 99cx?

Here are pics from hatches and sedans just for comparison... Coupes I know are the same as hatchbacks...

well my fiancee's 97 Ex coupe that the black grill came off of must have been some kind of hot wheels or something. Sorry for the apparent misunderstanding. you're out $20 big deal.

If the red one is a 96-98 and the black one there is off of my fiancee's 1997 Ex Coupe, then why are they different sizes?

i don't know man, i'm just saying that what i got in the mail.
i'll even send it back to u in the same box.

and no 20 is not a big deal to me i'm just tryin to tell u what i got thats all.

u can even keep the 20 and the bezel...it'll be shipped tomorrow in the same box and the same red bezel with slight scratches on the very top...same as when i got it...didn't even install it, just looked at it and was like nope thats the wrong one.

just took pixs to show u thats all.

not tryin to say ur a bad seller who knows maybe the post office stole it and put in a 96-98 bezel.

either way its kool...i'll just look for another one

I'll be refunding your money just to eliminate any chance of anyone saying I'm in the bad here. I based what I told you and how I represented what I was selling to the best of my knowledge.

No hard feelings

I've met CTRwannabe before in person, I won't refund a dime until the grill is back in my posession, but I wouldn't have said it was a 99-00 Si grill if I wasn't sure what it was. I had reason to believe what it was (being bigger than my 97 Coupe grill) So who knows why it's different.
