oem spoiler on 96-98 hatch v 99-
Question for the hatch experts..... My 98 cx stock spoiler is plain black and does not have that extra piece on top. Did DXs in 96-98 come with this same spoiler or the one with the body colored piece on it? Im pretty sure that all 99- regardless of trim came with the body colored one is this correct? Can that extra piece be simply put on my stock spoiler is it completely different? Thanks.

I have 96 dx hatch and my spoiler is colored matched to the body. But as far as any of the other questions about fitment, I have no idea.

The peice fits as far as I know, BUT it simply adds weight with no real aero advantage...The lower spoiler even requires new hydraulic lifters for the hatch.
One time I saw a CX one that was painted to match the body color, and it looked REALLY good! Just an idea worth consideration.
