OEM SOHC LSD Help!!!
OK, here's the dilemma. I have a JDM VTi LSD Tranny, and the ring gear is completely shot. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement ring gear? I was hoping to use my stock USDM Si (D16) final drive, along with the JDM LSD diff, but according to a few sources I've spoken with, the JDM VTi LSD tranny had a one-off ring gear bolt pattern, which sucks for me, but I know someone out there has GOT to have some info on this. Thanks all.

The JDM LSD ring gear has 14 bolts, and the Non-LSD has 10 bolts. You need to find a ring gear from the JDM LSD tranny.

Ok, well I do know that the VTi has a different ring gear bolt pattern, and my ring gear is shot. My question is where can I find a replacement ring gear?

Re: OEM SOHC LSD Help!!! (bluebird)
This is making my decision not to go with the VTi tranny seem much more right. But good luck with finding the gear.... maybe visit a tranny shop, maybe something might interchange

Re: OEM SOHC LSD Help!!!
Well, I tried Yahoo Japan, and the only problem I have with that is I don't read Japanese. It's all in Japanese. Any other suggestions anyone??? I REALLY need the help, and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks all.

Sage Racing makes 4.7 fd ring gears for D-series, maybe they got one in the right bolt patter for your tranny...
|
Does Sage Racing have a website? or does anyone else have any different information? Thanks all.
