depending on the year, yes u do loose the dome light... unless you jump the light green/red with the light green/black found in the small green plug.
way to spread misinformation

How and or why would this eliminate your keyless entry or dome light? They should be wired seperate from each other. I've never owned anything w/ factory ketless entry, so I'm not sure.

guessing its on the same circuit and it would be a series circuit.. meaning if 1 is missing the rest is.. but dont quote me on that, its just my theory

Wow, you are one conceded *****. And if you think that you've never seen anyone much smarter than you are sadly mistaken. GTF over yourself.
BTW If you are so smart then how come you misspelled "misinformation"?

Sorry to thread jack. To answer your original question, I lost (well didn't have) my dome light. That is until I got my stock radio/headunit back. Other than that you won't loose the use of anything else.

Yes you can call honda and ask them to look it up for you. They will need some information off the sticker on the headunit and possibly the VIN #. I can't remember if they need that or not.

Do you have the entire part that came out of the dash? If you do, you're good.
