OEM Muffler Question
i seen a lot of people where i live use a custom piping with a OEM muffler from other hondas on their EG's. ex: ITR Muffler, CTR Muffler, GSR muffler, and i saw this today: CRV muffler. so my Question is, does anyone kno the diameter of the mufflers?

Re: OEM Muffler Question (JDM Balut)
i believe its 1.75" inlet/outlet. The higher performance models like that don't really use larger diameter piping, its just mainly how much better they flow than compared to a regular civic muffler. hope that helps!

Also the higher performance ones have tips on the end to make them look better. If anything, just buy and ES tuning or Magnaflow oval muffler and use resonators to keep it quite.

Re: OEM Muffler Question (EG-4DOOR)
Look under ur car. They are after the catalytic converter. Resonators are used to quiet down the exhaust. They don't rob you of any power since they are straight through design.
If you won't power increases, use the combo I mentioned earlier. It will be quiet, and will sound good at wide open throttle.
