OEM LSD and GM sychromesh = ok?
Is the OEM LSD compatible with GM synchromesh transmission fluid? I have the infamous 3rd gear grind under load....just making sure i'm not going to mess up my LSD diff.

I agree, the new MTF even has an updtated formula with friction modifiers of it's own.

I did use oem honda fluid. I just read on the boards here that synchromesh helps with worn sychros. I'v used it before with my dsm and nissan and liked the results. Oh well guess i need to pull the trans and fix 3rd.

Re: (92redhatch)
You might want to look into Amsoil they just came out with a new synthetic to replace GM syncromesh, Honda MTF, and a few others.
