oem front lip hardware

I just recentley picked up a oem lip from honda, and didn't want to pay the 50 bucks for the hardware, I searched on here and all I could find was goto home deopt ect.... My question is what exactly do I get, just some simple nuts and bolts? or something else? any help would be appreciated, thanks

well Ive never mounted an OEM honda lip, but when I installed my wings west lip on my focus I just used self tapping screws, whatever the black ones are called that dont corrode. Maybe you could use those, you might want to use some type of 3M adheasive tape as well, I know some body kits use it, I however prefered not to since it messes up the paint when you rip it off https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: oem front lip hardware (jerm001)

i would go to a junkyard if you can, find any honda/acura w/ a front lip, take the hardware off that...basically it's a nut that clips onto the bumper cover, and a bolt that goes though the lip. not only does it hold better than DIY, but it looks better, no exposed screws. the advantage to using the nuts w/ clips is that they stay on the bumper, and install is much easier, you don't have to hold them while trying to get the bolt into it, just hold it when you're finally tightening so you don't twist it
