Odd starting problem
Ok my girlfriends 95 civic dx (auto) didnt start today, and im a little confused. A little back history on the car. About a month ago it didnt start so I checked for spark and didnt have any I traced it back to the distrubtor and it was bad so I replaced it. After that it had a misfire and would bog at certin speeds (40 and 60), it would take a try or two to start and had a loss of power. I looked at her plugs and they were shot, so I replaced those last week. The car didnt have the misfire or bog any more and low end power was better but it really sucked up hills. She drove the car satruday night and it was fine with the exception of the power up hills.
Got in it today so I could wash it, and it didnt start. Not only that its making a sound like I have never hurd a car make before and shakes violently. The nosie it makes is kinda like its timing is 180 off and it also kinda sounds like the starter gets stuck (its really hard to decribe). It also is not getting any spark again from the distrubtor, I dont have a ohm tester right now or I would test it, but my main concern is the sound it makes. I also pulled the codes but it dosent make much sense to me. They go 6 quick blinks a pause for a few seconds then three long blinks. So is it a code 6 and 30 or 36 or what??
Any help would be apricated, Thank you.
