Not sure if this is where i should post this topic but.... I was considering buying an obx catback exhaust system for my 99 civic cx and i was wondering if anyone had one or knew anything about them such as horse power gains or sound (etc). Thanks for the help!

Upgrade your exhaust manifold and catalytic converter while you're at it, i'm not sure if they make any D16Y7 bolt-up exhausts...

might wana ask some quesions about an obx catalytic converter. I got one on my 99 ex coupe and their O2 sensor placement was totally unusable due to how long the sensor length is cause the hole makes the sensor point straight into the bottom of the car. new sensor hole was needed, but now works fine. thought this could help out, other than that catalytic converter works great

A lot of people view OBX as a shitty product. Many horror stories of cracked welds etc. on their manifolds and what not. Research a little bit then make an educated decision.

As far as a cheap quality exhaust goes, I reccomend magnaflow.

I bought a cheap obx stainless exhaust. The piping was great and the tig welds and fitment were great too, the only things i didn't like was the muffler placement and the loudness. I did eventually buy a magnaflow muffler to quiet the car down a bit, the sound wasn't ricey at all it was deep and loud. Hope that helps.

OBX does not have the best reputation, and rightfully so. They use poor materials to make their products, have shitty welds, and don't put much engineering into the products they make.

^Magnaflow is a great recommendation. They're cheap, sound good, and give good gains. You can find one ebay
