Default OBX Intake Manifold. How bad could it be?

Hey guys, I just came across this OBX Intake manifold on ebay. Does anyone have experience with this manifold? It's got to be better than the stocl mani. right?
I heard their headers sucked but I also heard bad things about skunk2 and they've got a good intake manifold. Let me know what you think.

I haven't personally used the OBX Intake Manifold, but what I heard is that the OBX Intake Manifold doesnt utilize all the factory sensors, it utilizes some of them, I could be wrong though... But if you want a Intake Manifold I would get a z6 and port it and do everything to it, make it flow better and its OEM... hehe... I like OEM parts... But that's my opinion, anybody else got anything???

the problem i have with the obx mani's is there flanges are porous and not smooth and that equals leaks, and then i would assume that the runners dont have a radius going into them from the plenum, and this is defiantly not good for power

i read a ls/v build up with blox cams and intake.. it made 215 hp and 140 tq without a tune.... i would imagine that the intake itself is decent. its also suposed to be a skunk 2 knock off. you may also have trouble putting on the fuel rail becasue of how it locates it with the studs. so ive heard... good luck

not trying to steal this thread, but I heard the blox manifold is just like a ITR manifold, but I havent heard anything good about the cams yet.... But those are quite impressive numbers....

skunk2's are pretty good units, unfortunetly there arent any great manifolds for SOHC, but for 229 you really cant go wrong
