I had one on my swapped hatch I just sold. It fit well and definately out performed the stock exhaust manifold. It was worth the $150 I paid for it.

I used to have an OBX muffler, and it was fine. I haven't used any of their headers, though, and I have yet to see one on the dyno. If you're looking to get a cheap header, buy one off of groupbuycenter.com or look around here and see if any sponsors will sell you one cheap. I bought my A'PEXi header off of the Group Buy Center for $315 shipped and saw another company sell them two weeks later for like $295 shipped.

They are actually really reliable. I had one on one of my old hatches and it was nice. If you are actually looking for a good header for a little cheaper than a dc, check out this group buy I am doing. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=827827.

If you don't already have a D16Y8 then I would just get a header off a D16Y8 as I was told that was one of the most well flowing header available from the D-Family. Otherwise than that, I would just wait and try to find a used DC Header or something. I was in the same position that you are and was just about to go get a ebay header and just have a welder look over the welds and reienforce the welds if need be. But I just waited and waited and finally got a used DC Header for $110 shipped. You need to be a hawk and look for deals. I checked here and Honda-Acura and D-Series.org and Clubsi.com. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
