OBX a good brand? and a question about my engine.
is obx a good brand? and reliable? please let me know thanks.
and i have a d16y7 engine with automatic trans with 170k miles
im planning on swapping and changing the whole engine with some other engine
any suggestions on what i should swap it to?. all i have is around 400-600,
and does the engine has to be from an automatic trans too?

OBX is not generally accepted as good brand.
If your car is automatic, you will have to swap to another auto trans. You CAN convert to manual, but the process is a pain in the ***, and costly if you aren't performing the work yourself.

somethings are good, others arent. OBX copied their intake manifold from a ITR, i bet you that if you hand polished it or something in that area, it would perform just as good or maybe better, but stuff like cams....it just doesnt make sence to use OBX because of all the pressure the valvetrain puts on it and stuff...
