OBDII Override
I was browsing over at North Texas Prelude Owners Group website, and found that one of their guys came up with a simple way to bypass an OBDII ECU's tendancy to "learn" about mods that alter airflow and timing, and compensate against the benefits.
His idea was to bypass the memory backup wire using a toggle switch. The switch was so that you could bring the memory back into play in case you got a check engine light. The page is at http://www.ntpog.org/mods/fifth-afc/ecu.shtml
I don't have any wiring diagrams for any of this. Does anyone know what color that wire is on a '96 Civic EX?
