Default are obdI and obdII cats different?

the reason im asking is because i converted to obdI and i was going to buy a obdI header for really cheap from someone. will it bolt up to the obdII cat or will i have to custom make a test pipe? thanks for any replys

you gotta plug up that hole for the 2nd O2 sensor

You should be fine. I had an OBDI DC header on my 97 Civic EX (D16Y8). Only difference between the two headers was the location of the primary O2 sensor. Bolted right up to the stock cat with no problems.
