OBD2B SWAP IN 95 EG8???

Default OBD2B SWAP IN 95 EG8???

hey guys i have a full OBD2B GSR swap the swap came with a OBD2"A" P72 "JUMPER" so i was try to find out what all i need to do in swap it in my EG

so can i use the OBD2 ecu without jumper?

You don't need any jumper, and you should not use the OBD2 ecu. Find yourself an OBD1 P72 which plugs directly into your harness and you only need to add the knock sensor and IAB wires. If you try using the OBD2 ecu you will have to face the immobilizer, crank flux sensor, and add a secondary O2 sensor. Difficult and totally pointless.

oh ok just try to see all options cuz the teg harness did plug right in so should i get a 92-95 EX/SI harness and a OBD1 P72 ECU?

lol i was posting right when you were posting but yea from the way u put it OBD1 sounds better

Everyone who is OBD2 is always trying to convert back to OBD1 ecu's, take advantage of being OBD1 already and not needed to buy converters or anything.
