OBD2b to OBD2a wiring for dizzy plug? please help
Ok guys i have a ek hatch with a gsr b18c motor in it. i am running a 99-00 ek wiring harness jumped down with a jumper harness to run a p28 ecu
the problem i am running into is the dizzy plug doesnt clip in and i am wondering if someone could get me a wiring diagram or tell me how to take the obd2 dizzy plug wiring cut it and splice it up to a obd2a dizzy plug.
Also i have a ls dizzy is there anyway i can put the ls dizzy in and that will work or can i go out and buy a different dizzy that will work with the b18c motor and directly plug into the 99-00 civic harness out a 99 hatchback
the harness is a non vtec also if that helps
someone please help me

There are many ways to convert this. You decide
1. Check and make sure your distributor on the gsr motor isn't obd1.
2. Change the distributor for a obd2b distributor if you want a straight plug and play.
3. Splice it up however this is a diagram when converting from obd2a/b ===> obd1

*I believe you can use the ls distributor and plug it directly if it was obd2b
This is regarding the wiring part since you have a 99-00 obd2b NON-VTEC wiring harness

There is no OEM distributor for this setup, OBD2B civics used a single small distributor plug. You can either swap the CYP/CKP/TDC sensors from your old Y7 distributor, get an adapter harness or cut and splice the plug on the engine harness for a big plug (can be taken from any '96 - '98 civic, '96 - '01 Integra or '97 - '01 CR-V.

You can, you could also get one from a '96 - '97 Del Sol too, but it seems like a complete waste to hack up an Si harness for the distributor plug, especially when you could use the whole Si harness in this case.
