OBD2B to OBD1!!!(help)
Ok recently i bought an Ek4 or as we know it here a VTI, the thing is, i want to perform an Ecu swap by changing the OBD2B to an OBD1 but the problem is that when the past owner bought an harnness adaptor to that the car automaticly lit check engine with code 22. the engine is an b16A2 and i think code 22 has to do with the Vtec selenoid. but it works fine with the normal p2p ecu what can i do?

what year is your car? and what kind of harness are you using? SI harness am i correct? and is the ecu chipped? hmm i dunno maybe the guy who chipped it fucked up on something. but i couldnt really tell you

i think the wiring is different on the solenoid and pin might be in a different location on the stock harness. trace out the vtec system and go from there.
