OBD2b to OBD1
I was wondering exactly what needs to be done to run a obd1 motor in a obd2b car? i know you need the ecu a jumper harness and the distributor repinned. But there must be more cause my car won't start. It's a 99 civic dx with a JDM 94-95 B18C in it. I've got the complete swap from hmotors so i should have everything. Any help would be appreciated.

Go Tigers!
use your d16y7 harness. You'll need to wire in vtec, IAB (or just wire it with vtec) and possibly a knock sensor.
your b18c dizzy will need to converted to obd1. then you'll use an obd1 ecu with a obd2b->obd1 jumper harness

you need a 99-00 SI rear and timing side motor mount
use your stock harness and modify it.. change from 3 wire iacv to 2, and add vtec, knock and IAB. its all simple.. or find a 99-00 SI harness or 99-00 EX harness for a direct plug and play(may need to extend a few wires)
you will need obd2 injectors and alternator if you want it to plug and play... you can use the obd1 distributor if you re pin it or find a obd2 one
jumper harness and a obd1 p72 ecu

The car will run, and drive without a knock sensor.
