Default obd2b 3-wire to 2-wire iacv conversion question

I know on the obd2a ecu you swap A12 and A14 and disconnect A13 at the ecu. Then use only two prongs on the female 3-wire iacv connector to connect to the iacv itself.

Now for the obd2b ecu, I'm guessing I swap B6 and B23 and disconnect B15 at the ecu. Is that correct? I'm going by these diagrams: http://www.turbod16.com/viewtopic.php?t=3572

Now if it is correct, would I be able to get the same result by using a 2-wire male connector and hooking it up to the 3-wire female iacv connector, but swapping the wires there instead of at the ecu and then disconnect B15 at the ecu? Would that work?
