OBD2a CEL problems after conversion..Help please
Hi , just did a B16a2 (OBD1 engine) swap into a friends EK (OBD2a car)
He had a 1.4 non vtec before...
I did the IACV fix, extended all the plugs to the correct sensors etc
But after I put the ignition on, the CEL goes On then Off again as normal, but then comes back On Solid..I shorted the service connector to get the codes, but the CEL still stays on Solid..Its not showing me any codes at all
Only thing i can think of is...The ECU and that I havent wired in the Vtec wires yet
As the ECU we are using is a freinds P2T b16a2 OBD2a ecu...I guess the ecu is looking for Vtec, and Secondary O2 even with ignition on??
Plan is to get a OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness and run a chipped P28
Just cant figure why theres a solid CEL and why I cant read the codes....
Any help will be great....
