obd2 problems

Default obd2 problems

ok i just had a valve job done and my car hasnst started since. its in time and it was getting fire and fuel just fine until today.. i went over all the wires and im getting power at the distributor but no spark... i just changed the module and coil and still nothing.. why would it be gettin fire and fuel one day and then the next its nothing??

does it have compression? are the valves adjusted too tightly to where they never fully close? i've definitely seen that before...

ya we done a compression test last night and adjusted the valves the 1-3-4-2 when it was gettin spark and fuel and we tried again today and now its nothing.

does it have a strong white spark? or a weak orange/yellow spark?

it had a good white spark and now its not sparkin at all

when did it have the good spark- when it was still running, or after it quit? because i was gonna say coil, until i thought i read it had spark. but a coil will crap out on you out of nowhere. i'd say needs a coil

ok, nm, i just re-read first post... have you bench-tested the coils? (actually made them spark, not just tested primary and secondary resistance). coils can be bad. i've been through tons of bad ones

Check the critical ground wire attached to the thermostat housing. It may be disconnected, loose, or corroded. It's needed for both fuel and spark.
