OBD2-to-OBD1 Conversion question.....Please help!
Ok, i know this topic has been brought up many a time. But, i'm still finding my questions unanswered.
Here's the deal. I have a 98 CX hatchback. B18 LS motor swap/gsr tranny. As of right now, I'm running the stock obd2 ecu, stock obd2 civic injectors, and an obd2 integra distributor.
I have a JDMsh!t OBD2a-OBD1 conversion harness. An obd1 PO6 Ecu with a skunk2 chip. When i hook up the obd1 ecu with the harness, it will start up fine. But putters bad, and is really jumpy until about 4k rpms, and just runs weird, with the Check Engine light fluttering the whole time. i've heard that i need to clip the wires off of an obd1 civic/integra/accord/whatever, and use the obd1 injectors, because they put out a different signal to the ecu, which i have, but no clips for them. and also, i hear that i need to change to an obd1 integra distributor, because it has a different timing profile than obd2?? so, i have an obd1 integra distributor. not too keen on cutting the harness or doing alot of splicing. and found a dizzy conversion harness from MSD, and going to buy it if it will allow me to do the conversion to my obd1 ecu. but not going to bother with it, if it isn't going to change anything.
Can someone please concur with any of that conversion info, on whether it's true or not, or if there is something else that i need to do?? I would be very appreciative of it. Thanks alot!

no CEL's flashing when i have the obd1 po6 ecu hooked up. i'm thinking either my harness or ecu is causing the problem. going to try out a stock obd1 ecu to find out.
