obd2 to obd1 conversion problems
Ok so last week I installed a d16z6 in my 96 civic dx. It ran fine with the stock dx ecu with the exception of the cel for the crank fluctuation sensor. I my chipped p28 came back today so I was all pumped to install it. So after I ran a wire to the vtec soleniod and bypassed the pressure switch and converted the iacv to a 2 wire setup it starts and idles like crap. It sounds like it has a big cam it just lopes, my narrow band light show is showing lean until about 4000rpms which is where it cleans up and runs good. Anyone have any simular problems? I wouldnt think it was timing considering how good the car ran on the stock ecu. I switched the tps and map around and it got a cel then so I know it was right the first time. There is no vacuum leaks. Im stumpped.
