obd2-obd1....chipped p28
I have a 00 civic with with 96 jdm itr engine....anyways, im currently running a 00 p73 ecu obd2....everything seems to operate correctly with the exception of having the cel on becuase of the remove immobolizer. Well anyways, I bought a obd2b ecu jumper and bought a custom mugen spec p28 ecu. Now when I hook it up, my rpm would flucuate from 100-1200 rpm. what could be the problem? I cleaned my iacv and check all hoses and seems fine. I then tested the ecu on my buddy 95 teg and everything operates correctly on his car....if anyone could give me some advise, I would greatly appreciated...thanks...

did you reset the ecu? did you let it idle for 5 min without pressing gas pedal or turn on any accessories? if it work on your friend car fine the you should check the fitv.

fitv = fast idle thermo valve. you need to set you tps back to spec. .45v at idle and 4.5v wot. check your throttle cable to see if it is too tight.
