What exactly is the issue you're having? Is it not the original B16A2? If it's not the original one, do you still have the old mounts?

You didn't specify that it wasn't running right, you didn't specify if you're having issues getting the engine in your car; it was a pretty open ended question. You still didn't really explain what the issue is. Simply stating that it doesn't run right could mean many different things. Is the idle too high or too low? Is it sputtering at idle? Sputtering and falling on it's face when you give it gas? A specific problem at a certain RPM? Throwing any check engine light codes? Spitting out a ton of smoke from the exhaust? Engine making noise? Please give as much detail as possible.

sorry. i was jw if people have problems with the obd2 harness on the obd1 motor. put the harness on when i start it runs alright idles about were its supposed to give it gas cuts out at 2500-3000rpms. found out my injectors need a resistor box. i hooked it up and then could rev to 4000 didn't try going any higher. had a problem with the injectors cause gas started shooting out every where. fixed that went to turn the car on to make sure it was fixed and started doing what it did before. checked the code and its the air temp. would that make it run like that?

Your car is a 99-00 civic si which means its obd2b. Your motor is obd1 correct? So you have an intake air temp sensor problem? try changing the sensor. Actually just unscrew it and look at it.. see if the inside tip of the sensor is melted or not. Heres a diagram of all the sensors.

Did you wire the resistor box correctly? Im not sure if the b16 obd1 required a resistor box or not. But if it did, and you didnt use one, most likely your ecu is fried by now! which means you need to replace it. Try finding another obd1 ecu to test it out first

*note- make sure that your map and tps sensor plugs arent switched around. Look back at the diagram I posted so you know what those 2 are.. they look awfully alike so try switching them around and see what happens. Many people make this mistake of switching them around
