Default OBD2 LS Swap into 95 EG Hatch

yo guys my buddys older brother totalled his 2000 LS integra w/ GSR Tranny and is now selling me the whole front clip of his car which should be the complete swap..

i was wondering what do i need to complete this swap into my 1995 EG hatch CX?

i hear alot of things about OBD1 to OBD2 difficulties and im really new to this so please give me some light..

im from California and i would want this engine to be BARed so no short cuts...

You'll need an OBD1 ECU, thats about it. Use the OBD2 integra engine harness, its a direct plug in at the shock tower plugs. Then simply run an OBD1 PR4/P75. Below is a couple of diagrams to help you out.

This should be fun swap, especially having the cx which is super light. I had a cx with b16a boosted and that **** kills. Just got a dx and trying to make it lighter to cx weight. Please post a build thread when you are going to drop this bad boy in.

you will need to run a jumper harness to run the OBD2 p-75

Don't install a jumper harness, simply install an OBD1 LS ECU and be done with it.

If you're planning on BARing it, you won't be able to pass if you have a conversion harness or anything - I think.

I have always wondered this. Where he is going from new to old can't he just use a obd1 intake mani(complete) obd1 p75 ecu elimante the crank sensor and voila???? done...It would be a direct plug and play no f*ing around but will obd2's run without the crank sensor?? just a question...

You never mentioned the whole California thing. I think it depends on the ref. I have heard reports that you have to convert the car to OBD2 before, I've also heard that its permissible to run an OBD1 ECU. I'd talk to a ref and see what he/she tells you.

Its better or its legally required? Cause running an OBD2 LS ECU (unless you get one from a '96 - '97 'teg) looks for a fuel pressure sensor the civic doesn't have, requiring you to swap in a fuel tank from an EX civic or Integra with a FTP sensor, along with a bunch of other evap stuff, secondary O2 sensor, CKF sensor and potentially some other stuff i'm forgetting.
