OBD2 jumped to OBD1 P28, how can I read the CEL? less power
I just installed a P28 OBD1 ecu in my OBD2a civic and now i'm getting a solid CEL. I jumped the connection at the driver side and I still don't get any CEL codes in the dash, it's only staying solid. Also my idle is jumping from 1,000 to 1,500 and when I let off of my throttle to slow down it's rough compared to the old stock ecu. Can anyone help?

well if the jumper way didnt work, double check you are doing the steps correctly. If still nothng, put your old ECU back in, goto your local auto store, put the p28 in, and let them plug in manuelly and see what CEL's you have.
