Default OBD2 B20z enigne, into OBD1 93 Eg

Hi ht, im buying a b20z to swap into my eg. its a OBD2 engine harness and my eg is a OBD1 harness. So do i just convert the engine to OBD1, i.e swapping the intake manifold etc...) and all? or is there anything else? also do i have to change my ecu?

Thanks in advance

Do yourself a favor and get a 96-00 Integra LS Intake Manifold and Throttle Body, and if your going to make the car OBD2 get a P75 ecu out of an Integra LS

or do yourself a even better favour and get an obd1 ls ecu, dizzy, intakem manifold,tb and simply leave all the extra obd2 sensors the b20z comes with unhooked such as knock sensor!

very simple, passes etests easier, cheaper and youll gte no codes since it is the ecu thats reads codes not the motor

Don't listen to this guy!

First of all, i have done this swap! The B20Z has a great intake manifold design and works well. I swapped out the manifold for an Integra one, only to loose power.

As far as ecu's go, i had both an OBDI PR4 and P75. The PR4 ran much better with the engine.

No need to buy another dizzy. Both OBDI and II dizzy's share the "same" internals and only require repining of the plugs if needed.

The swap is awesome, you'll love it!!

Well my friend said that all you would need to do is get a obd1 distributer and alternater and just swap it with the one on the b20z
