Heres the deal, i got an obd2 JDM b18c (gsr) and want to drop it into my 95 civic si. I want it to pass ref and smog. Can somone tell me what parts i would need to make this possible. I have been searching but couldn't find answer because some contradict the other. I know how to drop it in with an obd1 p72 ecu and using the obd2 usdm gsr wiring harness but that won't pass ref. so if you know please shed some light.

i know cali sucks with inspection and stuff so i dont know if you could use a jumper harness or not

If I were you id use the obd1 gsr cpu has less regulation than the obd2 but since you wanna stick to the rules. Ill tell you as much as i know you will need to get a obd1 to obd2 jumper harness andyou have to wire a secound o2 sensor directly to the ecu because the 95 doent have it prewired.

What you might wanna do is use the obd1 single vtec ecu the fuel map is alot lower and it might just get you by the test than swap the obd1 gsr ecu. you will probably have alot less work to do if you do it like that.

alright so far guys i got this list of things i need to get this motor in legit. evap canister from obd2 car, obd1-obd2 jumper harness, obd2 usdm p72, obd2 cat, 2x O2 sensor, and Obd2 wiring harness. let me know if im missing anything
