Default obd1 d16z6 block in a obd2 2000 civic

i have a fragged y8 block. i have a d16z6 block that i want to put in in it. i know the front and rear plates needs to be changed so i can mount the crank sensor in. on the y8 block there are two sensors behind the block. on the zc block there is only one. is it possible to use this block and not for it to throw any codes? i'm not sure what sensor that is. it's the sensor on the upper most part of the block. your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
