Default OBD1 or OBD2 ?

so i have a 98 civic hatch, i have the stock harness, im building a mini-me..
i bought a y8 head for the y7 block i have, so i did that swap, the guy i got the head off said that the distributer was obd2. which is what i thought i needed. so i swapped the heads and such i got to looking at the plugs for stuff because i never did a swap before, so i started matching some up and i do have most tagged, when i looked at the distributer plug it was different from he one on my harness ? does anyone have a link that shows what plug is which ? like pictures of the obd1 or 2 plugs. i have ran into a wall and am trying to find a way around it. Any info will help im sure. thanks

They're both OBD2

The first pic is an OBD2A plug ('96 - '98 Civic)

The second pic is an OBD2B plug. ('99 - '00 Civic, except Si/HX)

Y7 and Y8 distributors are identical between the same years/OBD level. If you have your old Y7 distributor simply reuse that.
