Default OBD1 head on OBD2 car Mini-me. Some Q?

I want to do a mini me head swap on my 97 dx (d16y7). I have a JDM d15b head with all the sensors and dizzy, can I slap it on the y7?
What can I do about the dizzy plugs?
What cr ratio will I have and how much can I mill of the head safely?

you can use the head but you will hafta rewire the dist plug and use the obd2 plug.. prob a cpl other minor things but not too hard.. use the fuel injectors from your obd2 motor etc

So I rewire the dizzy with the obd2 plug (or modify the mounting legs off of mine), use the obd2 injectors and what about the IACV? Will I ave to rewire it or something? Ill use the stock dx ecu with a rpm activated switch to activate vtec (ill use a fuel press reg to not lean out in vtec)

Hey...whats up. Um...you have two choices, you can convert to OBD-I (ECU, conversion harness) or you'll have to get an OBD-II distributor and possibly some sensors on the intake manifold as well as the P2P ECU. Again, i'm really not sure about wiring for OBD2 -> OBD1. You SHOULD be able to use the y7 belt...because the d16z6/d16y7/d16y8 all share the same timing belt (104 teeth), and a d15b is pretty much a z6.

Do you know which sensors change from obd1 to obd2? Im sticking with the stock y7 ecu because I dont have money now and the dizzy ill rewire or modify the y7 one o fit. I only need to know which sensor ill have to swap from the y7 head to the d15b head.

not sure...the only thing that plugs onto the head is the dizzy...if you use the y7 manifolds you should be in good shape...again i'm not experienced with OBD2 stuff. If you don't use the P2P ECU you'll need an MSD RPM activated switch so you can activate the VTEC.
