i search and found some wire diagram i needed but none of them show the RPM signal wire. if anyone know what color it is or a link that shows it please let me know. i'm trying to hook up my hks turbo timer to my eg6 with a p72 ecu.

Its blue and comes off the distributor, there is also a connector in the rear driver's side corner of the engine bay, single blue wire with a rubber cap over the plug, this is probably the easiest place to tap into. The tach signal does not make its way back to the ECU.

Edit, completely screwed that up. Should have read coming off the distributor, not ECU, I must have been half asleep when I typed that.

is it a straight blue color or is it blue w/color strip or dash? i'll check it out tomorrow.
