Default OBD1 Distributor question

Hey, im doing a b16a2 swap in my 4 door civic today, and i was wondering if I can use a regular non vtec ls distributor ? The other thing since it's going in a obd1 EX 4 door EG shell i was wondering I need to mess around with the wiring on the intake manifold since it's a b16a2 motor. I heard you only have to splice the wire for the IAT sensor that's about it since the plugs are different. Any advice on this please let me know.

not sure about the IAT but you can use the non VTEC distributor just cut off the leg that will hit the VTEC solenoid. you wont have any problems with just the 2 legs bolted up

Yea, the ls dizzy will work fine with that leg cut off. Also for the IAT, you can just splice the wires in.
