Default OBD1 D15 in a 96 civic?

I blew up my Y8 and its hard finding a Y8 motor online... i dont **** with buying motors off craigslist... my friend got his integra tookin by cops after he bought a GSR for his integra.... but any way....

Will the OBD 1 D15b work in my OBD2 civic i know i prob gotta swap Dizzy and intake manifold is that it?

should be a basic swap w/ an obd2a/b - obd-1 conversion harness. i don't think you swap dizzy unless it's a mini-me(research,i could be wrong). D15B 3-STAGE VTEC is exactly what your looking for. their even advertised as d16y8 replacement motors. if you already have an obd-1 d15b then an obd2-obd1 sub-harness SHOULD be all you need.

Ok i just got the D15b... its the 96 D15b with the 3 stage Vtec do i need a new ECU or will my old y8 ecu which is a P2P work? there both vtec but the d15b is the 3 stage vtec so im not sure
