OBD1 Conversion...Service connector not working!
The motor is a B18c with an ls crank, ITR Pistons and rods, and no butterflys in a 98 lx. Just did the obd1 conversion with a chipped p06 and vtec kit from moates. Had a guy burn me a basemap for my setup and got the conversion harness. When I plugged the computer in it started right up but sounded like it was missing pretty badly. I shut it off and put new plugs. started it back up and was still having the same problem along with the idle wanting to fluctuate from about 1500-2000 rpm's where as when i had the stock P72 ECU in it it wouldn't fluctuate. The engine light stays on and when I try to jump the service connector (i.e. paperclip) I get nothing. The CEL does not flash just stays on constantly. Any idea's? Where should I start the diagnosis?
Will post up a video as soon as I get a camera!

You almost surely have more than one problem. The CEL may be on steady due to a short in a service connector or CEL wire.

Bad map? Can you clarify. If you cant notice im new to the tuning area.
And a short in the service connector wire...It worked when i was using the obd2 p72 ECU

solid CEL -
bad program in chip (improper bin or bad burn into chip)
bad ECU part or chipping process
short in 5V output lines
plus several other unlikely scenarios.
this will also cause the running conditions you describe.
