Default Obd1 code 8

How do I fix code 8? Other than the CEL coming on I cant tell that anything is wrong, car runs and drives fine

I really dont know why it would throw a code 8 cause timing hasnt been messed with, and the car still drives fine...any help is apreciated...thanx

I know when code 8 usually comes up u have to replace the dizzy, cause the cars dies and wont start back up, but mine runs fines, starts up on the first turn, anyone else with any suggestions?????

I know it means TDC sensor, and I know that sensor is built in the distributor, but timing hasnt been messed with to b off, and your talkin about ignition timing rt?

The distributor can twist a bit to adjust the timing. Get a timing light and make sure it's dead on before you do anything else.
