Not really, you can bypass it. Or find a block off plate if they make one. Why you want to get rid of the fast idle valve? Are the revs going up and down?

I know its not the iac its the fast idle. you can have it bolted up and bypassed. just open the cover with the two phillips head screws and turn the valve in till its tight and run it like that.

They also make t.b.'s without them on it. OBD0 I think......that is what I run. Easiest way to get it done without the headache of leaks and alternate problems later down the road.

That is what I have. OBD2 it is then. I always wondered which it was, just never cared to find out. Are you trying to get rid of the hoses, or the valve? All the valve does is regulate the idle at operating temp. Not a huge deal really, you could hypothetically remove it. Just one more place to have a leak though. Just use the OBD2 t.b. and let it be. That is my .02
