NO the OBD-1 injectors will not work on an OBD-II clip.. can I ask why you are changing the injectors?

bc even though many argue that all civics rocked 240cc injectors... the dx, cx, and lx (d16y7) had 180cc... im on boost. and need slightly more fuel... how hard is it to change injector clips

Well just FYI they are 240's..
but if you wanted to waste your money then you can get some B series OBD-1 injectors but it would be the same as D-series. Infact why dont you do a dyno with your stock injectors then you should see the F/A and I bet it wont be in the danger mode if you tune the car right.
I have someone I know running D series injectors on a B series modified and he has no problems at all.
I have some B18 Injectors OBD-II for sale if your interested

Re: obd-1 gsr injectors for 96 dx civic? fit? (BatuKing)
i know most are all 240's... i happened to buy the car with a y7 which has 180cc.... im not arguing that the y8 injectors are any different... they have 240s... and my friend is local. offering me his gsrs almost for free cuz i gave him a free water temp gauge a few weeks back...
just tring to see what modification it takes to the injector clip to make the obd1 gsr injectors to work in my obd2 civic
and i have nothing to tune with. currently running an fmu.... thinking about running a blue box instead with the bigger injectors.

From what I know you will need to get a resistor box and obd-1 clips for the injectors.
since the higher the OBD the more resistance in the injector so you will need to either solder in a (dont quote me might be wrong) 25Ohm resistor for each injector or find an injector box ,someone here has to know the value.

y7s are 180ccs and the y8 comes with 240cc injectors. I TESTED THEM MYSELF. Just pick up some y8 injectors from a junkyard man, they're cheap.

You should read up some before you try to school people. Not all D series are 240's. I am running EX injectors which happen to be 240's, thats why I have no problems. Resistor boxes are only needed if he is running the low impedance OBD-0 injectors. He would also need clips. If he wants to run OBD-2 injectors, he will only need the clips, no box.

thank you..... how hard is it to change the clips? is it the full injector plug, or just a lock clip. if it is a simple task.. and easy to reverse i will go that route cuz i can get the stock obd-1 gsr injectors from a friend for $20...

Its very easy if you can cut and strip wires and solder. Thats all there is to it. Your just changing the clip that snaps onto the injector, as well as installing the OBD-1 injectors. Thats all. I say give it 30 mins. I did it on my SI when I installed the Greddy turbo kit. Not hard by any means.
