Default o2 Sensor related question! -Footnotes inside!-

There are some foot notes for those who don't wanna read it all!

Well I had to extend my o2 sensor from the firewall up to the radiator since I boosted my car. Obviously I didn't do a good enough job tuck the wires away b/c they got wrapped up in my axle and ripped the plug from the harness and the wires on the o2 where I cut 'em to extend the wire. I re wired them from the o2 sensor directly to the harness without the plug and I think I might have the heater ground wire and signal ground wire backwards b/c I have a CEL code p0172 I think. It's a o2 sensor low voltage code. Would the grounds being backward cause this?

Footnotes:

Extended o2 sensor wire
Axle ripped harness side all up
Rewired but I think I got the grounds swapped up
Getting a p0172 CEL, o2 sensor low voltage code
What's causing this CEL?

im almost positive they can go either way. both just go to a grounded pin in the ecu, I THINK. if that doesnt help it could have pulled the wires at the o2 and possibly ripped it internally. bump for better obd2 knowledge

I didn't think about it ripping the guts outta the O2 sensor. Could possibly be the problem.

Bump for another opinion!
