Default o2 sensor question!

I have a 98 honda civic cx with d16y7. I need to replace my secondary o2 sensor. Can someone please give me a link or tell me whats a good one to get. Someone said something about like a denso one from amazon running like 40ish bucks. And. Is the primary o2 sensor the same as the secondary? Are they interchangeable? thanks for the help guys!

NTK/NGK makes the OEM unit, so I would get one of those first. Denso is a good fallback plan.

They are interchangeable.

Hmm, maybe I'm crazy. I could have sworn I just put my backup O2 sensor, which used to be my secondary, in place of my oil soaked primary. Maybe I just had an extra primary laying around.

"Near" doesn't help. They're both near the cat. One's above, and one's below. The secondary is below. I'm just making this clear to make sure you don't accidentally order the wrong part, so don't take it as an insult to your intelligence.

There's your part number, straight from Honda. You should be able to easily find one from there.

Primary is on the manifold, above (and near) the cat. Secondary is below (and near) the cat. I just want to make sure we're talking about the same part so I don't send you off to buy the wrong thing.

Sounds like we're on the same page, though. That part number should lead you to what you need.
