Default o2 sensor question

can i remove my o2 sensor. (my up strem one the one right on the headers) my car is odb1 del sol mini me swap. i got the ecu rebuilt he said he removed all the codes ansd what not for the o2 sensor. so i can just ditch it completly. i see guys on here with full headers with no bank for the o2 sensor.

You could have done it by now and found out. If your ECU isn't looking for one then why would you need it?

unplug it.. if the cel comes on.. you need to have it there.
