you prob need a fake o2 sensor, ""dummy" whatever, its just going to happen, if you think they have fried it, pull it out and test it...... how do you test it? i have no idea but its prob. because of the new kit. have you tryed getting the code cleared? autozone, and advanced auto will do it for free.......... but dont let it go like that for long without fixing it.... you'll use up a **** ton of gas

p0104 is not an OBD-II code. Getting the code should make this a piece of cake.

That's your secondary O2 sensor, don't worry about the bank stuff, that's for V6's and V8's (etc.).

Are you running a test pipe?

As said above, this is a code for the O2 sensor screwed into your cat

Check and make sure no wires were cut/damaged/pinched.
Reset the ECU and check to see if the code comes back.
If everything is good and the code comes back, you might need a new O2 sensor.

If you get an O2 sensor, go ahead and make sure it is a Denso brand. There are very few OBD-II hondas that like the Bosch replacements sold at most auto parts stores. I would check Majestic Honda's website for a good price.

It is the one plugged into your cat.

You can pull the ECU fuse, or disconnect the battery (just make sure you have the radio code).

I would recommend pulling the fuse.

Is #27 considered the sensor after the cat?

After the cat?

Secondary O2 sensors on an EK EX are screwed into the cat itself...there are no sensors after the cat.

In the above diagram, #40 is the Primary O2 sensor, and #27 is the secondary sensor.
