Default o2 sensor. can it be fixed?

I got this Buzzing crapy test pipe from Y2Kmotors. and they put the bung on the wrong side of the pipe. so the o2 was pointed stright down, rather then up. I chose to use the car to get home annd come back the next day to cut and weld the back flange upsidedown so i could flip the whole pipe. but i did not make it back before breaking it.

If i surgically removed the shinny metal cap and spliced the wires back togather would it work? also i have a p28 with JDM D15B, will not using the 2nd o2 sensor effect my car at all?

Nope, not at all. the p28 only looks for 1 o2 sensor, as long as your sure that isn't the one the ecu is looking for just plug up the hole and you should be good

If thats your 2nd o2 sensor then just cap the bung and your set.

But to fix that o2 sensor i think youll need to run new wire out of that cap.
