Nuformz Block Guard, Thicker Head Gasket?? Sohc Turbo?
I will most likely be getting a Sohc Vtec motor and when I save enough money I want to buy the Greddy Turbo Kit for the d16z6. I was looking at making it pretty safe to run daily at abnout 8-10 psi and the lower priced alternatives seemed to be the Block Guard and A Thicker Headgasket. Would these items be sifficient for what i want to do, or would I need to go ahead and get rods and pistons?

you won't need either to run 8psi...you can do a head gasket and run 10psi...but the lower compression will hurt you in the low end...I really would recommend against it. as for the nu formz blockguard....I feel it too is unnecissarry. your stock sleeves are good up to 15psi...and the block guard won't help you if you detonate..

so basically just keep her stock and be careful. get a fuel pressure regulator and run a lil rich? how exactly to i get it "tuned". I See that word used on here quite a bit but no real explanation. Thanks
